A flown-in speaker introduces exactly one real risk to your programme: he is not in the building the night before unless somebody insists on it. Nearly every horror story a planner tells about a travelling speaker traces back to a same-day arrival that went wrong.
Nate arrives the day before for any morning slot. It is a plain scheduling commitment rather than a service promise, and it removes the failure mode entirely. If the budget will not carry the extra night, that is worth knowing at enquiry rather than at the run-through.
